Asian ethylene prices sink last week

Ethylene prices plunged in Asia in the last week due to weak regional buying sentiments.
 
In Korea, average prices drifted down sharply by US$ 90/ton and finalized at US$ 780/ton in the last week as compared to the previous week, a decrement of 10.34 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices deteriorated to US$ 775/ton in the last week, a fall of 10.40 per cent from US$ 865/ton in the previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices shrunk by US$ 55/ton and settled at US$ 730/ton in the last week, a drop of 7.01 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices slipped to US$ 815/ton in the last week, after a fall of 6.86 per cent as compared to the previous week.
