Asian ethylene prices slump former week

Ethylene prices in Asia diminished in the past week due to sufficient availability of product in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices reduced by US$ 30/ton and assessed at US$ 1,215/ton in the last week as against the previous week, a decline of 2.41 per cent to US$ 1,245/ton.
 
In Japan, average prices weakened by US$ 30/ton in the last week to US$ 1,210/ton from US$ 1,240/ton, a fall of 2.42 per cent over the week before.
 
In SE Asia, average prices drifted lower to US$ 1,115/ton in the previous week, a slash of 3.46 per cent from the week before at US$ 1155.
 
In NE Asia, average prices diminished by US$ 60/ton while settling at US$ 1,220/ton in the last week, a reduction of 4.69 per cent over US$ 1280/ton  at the end of the previous week.
