Asian ethylene prices soar last week

Ethylene prices rose in Asia in the last week owing to optimistic buying indications in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices edged higher by US$ 10/ton and quoted at US$ 1400/ton in the last week, as compared to the previous week, an enhancement of 0.72 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices climbed by US$ 10/ton and assessed at US$ 1395/ton in the last week, a gain of 0.72 per cent compared to the previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices jumped up by US$ 10/ton and settled at US$ 1280/ton in the last week, an increment of 0.79 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices marginally increased by US$ 10/ton and recorded at US$ 1365/ton in the last week, registering a lift of 0.74 per cent from the previous week.
