Asian ethylene rises last week from buying interest lift

Ethylene prices rose in Asia in the last week ended March 25 from lift in buying interest in the region.

In Korea, average prices climbed by US$ 40/ton or 3.42 and were quoted at US$ 1210/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices rose by US$ 40/ton and were offered at US$ 1205/ton in the last week, up 3.43 per cent as against its prior week.

In SE Asia, average prices expanded by US$ 10/ton and were assessed at US$ 1170/ton in the last week, an increase of 0.86 per cent vis-à-vis its earlier week.

In NE Asia, average prices ascended by US$ 20/ton or 1.68 per cent from its previous week and were spotted at US$ 1210/ton in the last week.

In India, average prices grew by US$ 10/ton and were witnessed at US$ 1170/ton in the last week, up 0.86 per cent as compared to its prior week.
