Asian ethylene rises last week from improved sentiment

Ethylene prices rose in Asia in the last week ended Dec 11 from improved downstream market sentiments in the region.

In Korea, average prices went up by US$ 15/ton or 1.46 per cent and were quoted at US$ 1040/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices grew by US$ 15/ton and were assessed at US$ 1030/ton in the last week, up 1.48 per cent as against its prior week.

In SE Asia, average prices ascended by US$ 10/ton and were offered at US$ 1075/ton in the last week, an increase of 0.94 per cent vis-à-vis its earlier week.

In India, average prices climbed by US$ 10/ton or 0.94 per cent from its previous week and were spotted at US$ 1075/ton in the last week.
