Asian propylene climbs last week from lift in sentiment

Propylene prices climbed in Asia in the last week ended Oct 30 from lift in buying sentiments in the region.

In Korea, average prices rose by US$ 10/ton or 1.77 per cent and were assessed at US$ 575/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices grew by US$ 20/ton and were quoted at US$ 565/ton in the last week, up 3.67 per cent as against its prior week.

In SE Asia, average prices expanded by US$ 10/ton and were offered at US$ 530/ton in the last week, an increase of 1.92 per cent vis-à-vis its earlier week.

In India, average prices drove up by US$ 10/ton or 1.92 per cent from its previous week and were spotted at US$ 530/ton in the last week.

In China, average prices went up by US$ 5/ton and were assessed at US$ 610/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, an increase of 0.83 percent.
