Asian propylene dips last week from insipid market

Propylene prices dipped in Asia in the last week ended Jan 22 from insipid market sentiments.

In Korea, average prices declined by US$ 15/ton or 2.70 per cent and were assessed at US$ 540/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices descended by US$ 10/ton and were quoted at US$ 540/ton in the last week, down 1.82 per cent as against its prior week.

In China, average prices dropped by US$ 5/ton and were offered at US$ 585/ton in the last week, a decrease of 0.85 per cent vis-à-vis its earlier week.
