Asian propylene lifts last week from upstream price gain

Propylene prices lifted in Asia in the last week ended March 11 from gain in upstream product prices in the region.

In Korea, average prices expanded by US$ 30/ton or 4.88 per cent and were assessed at US$ 645/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices climbed by US$ 35/ton and were quoted at US$ 640/ton in the last week, up 5.79 per cent as against its prior week.

In SE Asia, average prices mounted by US$ 25/ton and were offered at US$ 715/ton in the last week, an increase of 3.62 per cent vis-a-vis its earlier week.

In India, average prices drove up by US$ 25/ton or 3.62 per cent from its previous week and were spotted at US$ 715/ton in the last week.

In China, average prices gained by US$ 45/ton and were witnessed at US$ 695/ton in the last week, up 6.92 per cent as against its prior week.
