Asian propylene prices decline last week

Propylene prices decreased in Asia in the past week due to dull upstream energy values in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices reduced by US$ 25/ton and assessed at US$ 1,115/ton in the last week, after a decrease of 2.19 per cent during the previous week.
 
In Japan, average prices drifted lower by US$ 25/ton to US$ 1,130/ton in the last week, a fall of 2.16 per cent as compared to US$ 1,155/ton in the last week.
 
In China, average prices shrunk sharply by US$ 40/ton while settling at US$ 1,155/ton in the last week, a drop of 3.35 per cent over US$ 1,195/ton prevailing at the end of the former week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices inched down by US$ 5/ton and traded at US$ 1,080/ton in the last week over the previous week, a reduction of 0.46 per cent.
