Asian propylene prices diminish last week

Propylene prices plunged in Asia in the previous week due to sluggish buying sentiments in the region.

In Korea, average prices tumbled by US$ 40/ton and assessed at US$ 1,020/ton in the past week, after a decrease of 3.77 per cent from the former week.

In Japan, average prices slumped to US$ 1,015/ton in the prior week, a reduction of 5.14 per cent as compared to US$ 1,070/ton in the preceding week.

In China, average prices fell US$ 20/ton and settled at US$ 1,060/ton in the last week, a drop of 1.85 per cent over US$ 1,080/ton in the week before.

In SE Asia, average prices lowered US$ 55/ton and traded at US$ 970/ton in the last week over US$ 1,025/ ton in the previous week, down by 5.37 per cent.
