Asian propylene prices dwindle last week

Propylene prices contracted in Asia in the last week due to dull buying interest coupled with adequate product availability in the region. 
 
In Korea, average prices subsided US$ 70/ton and secured at US$ 895/ton in the last week, after a drop of 7.25 per cent as compared to the previous week.
 
In Japan, average prices diminished US$ 85/ton and quoted at US$ 905/ton in the last week, a decline of 8.59 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices plunged 100/ton and recorded at US$ 850/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a fall of 10.53 per cent.
 
In India, average prices tumbled sharply by US$ 110/ton and assessed at US$ 840/ton in the last week, a reduction of 11.58 per cent compared to previous week.
 
In China, average prices weakened 70/ton to US$ 935/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a decrease of 6.97 per cent.
