Asian propylene prices fall last week

Propylene prices went down in Asia in the last week due to dull buying activity coupled with adequate product availability in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices declined by US$ 30/ton and secured at US$ 895/ton in the last week, after a drop of 3.24 per cent as compared to the previous week.
 
In Japan, average prices reduced by US$ 20/ton and quoted at US$ 905/ton in the last week, a declination of 2.16 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices plunged by US$ 25/ton and recorded at US$ 820/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a fall of 2.96 per cent.
 
In China, average prices decreased by US$ 15/ton and assessed at US$ 935/ton in the last week, a reduction of 1.58 per cent compared to previous week.
