Asian propylene prices improve last week

Propylene prices moved up in Asia in the last week due to strong market sentiments in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices surged by US$ 20/ton and finalized at US$ 1065/ton in the last week, an improvement of 1.91 per cent over the previous week.
 
In China, average prices climbed by US$ 15/ton and recorded at US$ 1080/ton in the last week, showing a rise of 1.41 per cent as compared to the previous week.
 
In Japan, average prices turned up by US$ 25/ton and quoted at US$ 1040/ton in the last week, registering an increase of 2.46 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices marched higher by US$ 20/ton and assessed at US$ 990/ton in the last week, an increment of 2.06 per cent as compared to the previous week.
