Asian propylene prices improve past week

Propylene prices went up in Asia in the last week due to strong market sentiments in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices increased by US$ 10/ton and secured at US$ 900/ton in the last week, after a rise of 1.12 per cent as compared to the previous week.
 
In Japan, average prices improved by US$ 5/ton and quoted at US$ 890/ton in the last week, an increment of 0.56 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices moved up by US$ 5/ton and recorded at US$ 815/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a rise of 0.62 per cent.
 
In China, average prices went up by US$ 30/ton and assessed at US$ 970/ton in the last week, an increase of 3.19 per cent compared to previous week.
