Asian propylene prices inch lower due to weak demand

Propylene prices moved down in Asia in the last week due to weak product demand in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices decreased by US$ 45/ton to US$ 875/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, after a fall of 4.89 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices went down by US$ 15/ton and quoted at US$ 885/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a drop of 1.67 cent.
 
In SE Asia, average prices inched lower by US$ 15/ton and assessed at US$ 895/ton in the last week, a decrement of 1.65 per cent compared to previous week.
 
In China, average prices declined by US$ 30/ton to US$ 915/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, after a reduction of 3.17 per cent.
