Asian propylene prices jump last week

Propylene prices climbed in Asia in the last week due to bullish demand trends in the region.

In Korea, average prices stepped up by US$ 10/ton and recorded at US$ 1080/ton in the last week, registering a lift of 0.93 per cent over the previous week.

In Japan, average prices edged up by US$ 15/ton and settled at US$ 1075/ton in the last week, a hike of 1.42 per cent over the previous week.

In SE Asia, average prices leaped higher by US$ 15/ton and quoted at US$ 1005/ton in the last week, showing a rise of 1.52 per cent over the previous week.

In China, average prices gained by US$ 15/ton and secured at US$ 1120/ton in the last week, a growth of 1.36 per cent as compared to the previous week.
