Asian propylene prices march higher last week

Propylene prices moved up in Asia in the last week due to bullish buying trend coupled with higher energy values in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices surged by US$ 25/ton and secured at US$ 970/ton in the last week, after a rise of 2.65 per cent as compared to the previous week.
 
In Japan, average prices enhanced by US$ 20/ton and quoted at US$ 935/ton in the last week, a lift of 2.19 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices increased by US$ 20/ton and recorded at US$ 860/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a gain of 2.38 per cent.
 
In China, average prices soared by US$ 25/ton and assessed at US$ 1030/ton in the last week, a climb of 2.49 per cent compared to previous week.
