Asian propylene prices rise past week

Propylene prices went up in Asia in the last week due to inadequate product supply in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices soared by US$ 15/ton and secured at US$ 985/ton in the last week, after a hike of 1.55 per cent as compared to the previous week.
 
In Japan, average prices advanced by US$ 30/ton and quoted at US$ 965/ton in the last week, a gain of 3.21 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices improved by US$ 35/ton and recorded at US$ 895/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a lift of 4.07 per cent.
 
In China, average prices climbed by US$ 25/ton and assessed at US$ 1055/ton in the last week, a jump of 2.43 per cent compared to previous week.
