Asian propylene prices show mixed trend past week

In Japan, average prices declined by US$ 10/ton and quoted at US$ 1030/ton in the last week, a fall of 0.96 per cent over the previous week owing to bearish business activity.

In SE Asia, average prices plunged by US$ 5/ton and settled at US$ 995/ton in the last week, a drop of 0.50 per cent as compared to the previous week due to lack of buying interest in the region.

In China, average prices jumped sharply by US$ 55/ton and assessed at US$ 1095/ton in the last week, an increment of 5.29 per cent compared to the previous week due to improved buying inquiries.
