Asian propylene rises last week from buying interest lift

Propylene prices rose in Asia in the last week ended Jan 1 due to lift in buying interest in the region.

In Korea, average prices ascended by US$ 5/ton or 0.86 per cent and were assessed at US$ 585/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In SE Asia, average prices drove up by US$ 5/ton and were quoted at US$ 655/ton in the last week, up 0.77 per cent as against its prior week.

In India, average prices expanded by US$ 5/ton and were spotted at US$ 655/ton in the last week, an increase of 0.77 per cent vis-à-vis its earlier week.

In China, average prices climbed by US$ 5/ton or 0.81 per cent from its previous week and were offered at US$ 625/ton in the last week.
