Benzene inch higher in Asia last week

Benzene prices increased in Asia in the last week due to higher upstream energy values.

In Korea, average prices moved up by US$ 20/ton and assessed at US$ 690/ton in the last week, an increment of 2.99 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.

In Japan, average prices improved by US$ 20/ton to US$ 695/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, after a hike of 2.96 per cent.

In India, average prices climbed by US$ 20/ton and quoted at US$ 700/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a rise of 2.94 per cent.
