Benzene prices march higher in Asia last week

Benzene prices moved up in Asia in the last week due to improved buying sentiments in the market.

In Korea, average prices increased by US$ 25/ton and assessed at US$ 830/ton in the last week, an increment of 3.11 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.

In Japan, average prices surged by US$ 25/ton to US$ 835/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, after a growth of 3.09 per cent.

In India, average prices inched higher by US$ 25/ton and quoted at US$ 840/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a hike of 3.07 per cent.
