Ethylene prices in Asia drop last week

Ethylene prices in Asia fell in the last week due to poor buying sentiments in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices reduced by US$ 20/ton while settling at US$ 1,190/ton in the previous week in comparison to earlier week at US$ 1,210/ton, down by 1.65 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices declined to US$ 1,185/ton in the last week, a slip of 1.66 per cent from US$ 1,205 in the earlier week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices lessened by US$ 55/ton in the former week and traded at US$ 1,165/ton from US$ 1,220 in the week before, a drop of 4.51 per cent.
 
In SE Asia, average prices slumped to US$ 1,060/ton in the prior week, a slash of 4.93 per cent from the preceding week at US$ 1,115/ton.
