Ethylene prices in Asia fall past week

Ethylene prices dropped in Asia in the last week with ample availability of product in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices inched lower by US$ 5/ton and assessed at US$ 980/ton in the last week as against the former week, a decline of 0.51 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices slipped to US$ 975/ton in the last week, a decrease of 0.52 per cent over US$ 975/ton in the preceding week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices fell sharply by US$ 40/ton and secured at US$ 1,000/ton in the last week, after a fall of 3.85 per cent as against US$ 1,040/ton in the week before.
 
In SE Asia, average prices lowered US$ 40/ton and concluded at US$ 915/ton in the last week, a reduction of 4.19 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
