Ethylene prices in Asia jump last week

Despite lower upstream energy values in Asia, ethylene prices improved in the last week.
 
In Korea, average prices increased US$ 25/ton and assessed at US$ 815/ton in the last week as against the previous week, up by 3.16 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices went up US$ 25/ton to US$ 810/ton in the last week over US$ 785/ton in the previous week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices soared by US$ 55/ton and secured US$ 900/ton in the last week, after a jump of 6.51 per cent from US$ 845/ton during the previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices climbed US$ 45/ton to US$ 800/ton in the last week over US$ 755/ton in the previous week.
