Ethylene prices in Asia tumble past week

Ethylene prices slipped in Asia in the last week with sufficient availability of product in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices slumped by US$ 70/ton and assessed at US$ 1,105/ton in the last week as against the previous week, a decline of 5.96 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices slipped to US$ 1,100/ton in the last week, a drop of 5.98 per cent over US$ 1,170/ton in the previous week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices fell sharply by US$ 55/ton and secured at US$ 1,110/ton in the last week, after a fall of 4.72 per cent as against US$ 1,165/ton during the previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices lowered by US$ 50/ton and concluded at US$ 1,010/ton in the last week, a reduction of 4.72 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
