Ethylene prices show mixed trends in Asia last week

Ethylene prices went down in the last week ended September 11 in certain regions from bearish product demand. However, they rose in others due to strong market sentiments

In Korea, average prices declined by US$ 15/ton or 1.96 per cent and were assessed at US$ 750/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices dropped by US$ 25/ton and were quoted at US$ 740/ton in the last week, down 3.27 per cent from its prior week.

In SE Asia, average prices went up by US$ 5/ton and were spotted at US$ 780/ton in the last week, an increase of 0.65 per cent as against its earlier week.

In NE Asia, average prices rose by US$ 5/ton or 0.62 per cent from its previous week and were offered at US$ 810/ton in the last week.

In India, average prices grew by US$ 5/ton and were witnessed at US$ 780/ton in the last week, up 0.65 per cent as compared to its previous week.
