Ethylene prices up Europe but stable in US last week

Ethylene prices went up in Europe in the last week ended Feb 12 due to favourable market fundamentals.

However, due to correction in feedstock prices, average prices were stable in the US.

In Europe, average prices rose by US$ 15/ton or 1.85 per cent and were quoted at US$ 825/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In US, average prices were steady and were quoted at 20 cents/pound in the last week as against its prior week.
