Favourable market condition pushes Asian ethylene prices

Ethylene prices increased in Asia in the last week due to favorable market conditions in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices moved up by US$ 10/ton and quoted at US$ 895/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a jump of 1.13 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices surged by US$ 10/ton and assessed at US$ 890/ton in the last week, a hike of 1.14 per cent compared to previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices edged higher by US$ 10/ton and quoted at US$ 860/ton in the last week, a lift of 1.18 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices improved by US$ 15/ton and assessed at US$ 945/ton in the last week, registering a rise of 1.61 per cent from the previous week.
