Higher upstream values push up Asian ethylene prices

Ethylene prices moved up in Asia in the last week due to higher upstream energy values in the region.
 
In FE Asia, average prices advanced by US$ 70/ton and quoted at US$ 1260/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a jump of 5.88 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices stepped up by US$ 70/ton and assessed at US$ 1255/ton in the last week, a rise of 5.91 per cent compared to previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices increased by US$ 25/ton and quoted at US$ 1120/ton in the last week, an improvement of 2.28 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices soared by US$ 55/ton and assessed at US$ 1325/ton in the last week, registering an increase of 4.33 per cent from the previous week.
