“We plan to commence maintenance turnaround in February 2016. The plant will remain shut for around 45-50 days,” a company official told Fibre2Fashion.
When queried about the current operating rate, the official said, “At present, the plant is operating at 80-90 per cent production capacity rates due to sluggish demand in the domestic market.”
The PX plant is located at Mizushima in Japan, and has a production capacity of 350,000 tons/year. (RKS)
