Nan Ya Plastics delays restart of Mailiao MEG plant

Taiwan based Nan Ya Plastics has delayed the restart of its MEG plant No-4 from early July to mid-July, which was shut for maintenance on April 8, 2013.

According to a Nan Ya official, the restart of MEG plant No-4, which has a production capacity of 720kmt/year has been delayed due to a problem in the reactor of the MEG plant.
 
The No-1 MEG which has a production capacity of 360 kt/year will be closed in October for 45 days maintenance.
 
The No-2 MEG plant which has a capacity of 360 kt/year will be shutdown in August for 45 days maintenance turnaround. 
 
The No-3 MEG plant with a capacity of 360 kt/year will go off-stream in November for 45 days maintenance turnaround. 
 
All four MEG plants are located at Mailiao, Taiwan.
