BG PET Chips prices decline in Chinese market

Paraxylene (PX) prices surged in the Asian region. In the Southeast Asian region, PX prices increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1495/ton to US$ 15000/ton. In the Far East Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1475/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market were steady and were assessed in the range of US$ 1480/ton to US$ 1485/ton.
 
PTA prices declined in the Asian region. In the Southeast Asian market, PTA prices declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1060/ton to US$ 1065/ton. In the Far East Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1060/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market remained steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 1055/ton to US$ 1060/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices declined and were quoted in the range of RMB 7625/ton to RMB 7675/ton.   
 
Ethylene prices remained steady in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian market, Ethylene prices kept unchanged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1445/ton. In the Far East Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1290/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of 51.50 cents/pound to 52.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices dropped in the European international and domestic markets to US$ 1380/ton and €1105/ton, respectively.     
 
MEG prices increased in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, MEG prices were quoted at US$ 1070/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices were stable in the range of US$ 1055/ton to US$ 1060/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices decreased and were assessed in the range of RMB 7800/ton to RMB 7850/ton.
 
In the Southeast Asian region, BG PET Chips prices were stable in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1460/ton, and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1450/ton. In the Far East Asian market, selling offers remained unchanged at US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1450/ton, while talked prices were between US$ 1400/ton and US$ 1440/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices declined and were assessed at RMB 9850/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices remained steady in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1340/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices were stable and were offered in the range of RMB 9350/ton to RMB 9400/ton.
 
PSF prices showed stable trend in Asian markets. In the Far East Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1500/ton. In the Southeast Asian market, PSF selling prices were offered at US$ 1400/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices dipped and were quoted in the range of RMB 10100/ton to RMB 10150/ton. 
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY remained unchanged at RMB 10350/ton, RMB 12200/ton, and RMB 10525/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY stayed steady at US$ 1440/ton, US$ 1700/ton, and US$ 1450/ton, respectively.
