PTA prices plunge in Asian region

PSF prices remained unchanged in Asian markets. In the Far East Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1500/ton. In the Southeast Asian market, PSF selling prices were quoted at US$ 1400/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices were stable and assessed in the range of RMB 9950/ton to RMB 10000/ton.

In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY remained unchanged and were quoted at RMB 10100/ton, RMB 12050/ton, and RMB 10375/ton, respectively. In the export market, prices of POY, DTY, and FDY remained stable and were assessed at US$ 1400/ton, US$ 1675/ton, and US$ 1430/ton, respectively.
