120 exhibitors partake in Myanmar's textile & apparel expo

Over 120 exhibitors participated at the recently concluded International Textile and Garment Industry Exhibition (MTG 2013), held in the city of Yangon, in Myanmar.
 
The four-day exhibition was jointly-organized by the Republic Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce & Industry (U.M.F.C.C.I.), Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association (MGMA) and Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd., Hong Kong, with the support of Myanmar Industries Association and Yangon regional government.
 
The exhibition, held from November 8 to 11, 2013, is hailed as one of the biggest industrial events in the country, and had participants displaying state-of-the-art textile and garment technologies, machineries and parts.
 
During the exhibition, participants from 18 countries and regions showcased various products ranging from textile spinning to weaving, dyeing, embroidery machines, knitting equipments, cutting and sewing machines, textiles and apparel finishing technologies as well as fabric and garment accessories.
 
Leading international textile and apparel firms from countries such as Bangladesh, China, Czech Republic, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Japan, South Korea, Pakistan, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, the UK and Vietnam participated in the four-day event.
 
The textile and garments industrial fair was organized with the objective of providing an ideal platform for manufacturers, buyers, traders, distributors and government officials for exchanging information regarding the latest trends and advancements in the textile and garments manufacturing process.
