Propylene prices surge in Korea & Japan

In S E Asian countries, Propylene prices remained stable and were quoted at US$ 1385/ton. In Korea and Japan, prices surged by US$ 10/ton and were assessed at US$ 1435/ton and US$ 1415/ton, respectively. In the Chinese market, prices were quoted at US$ 1500/ton.

In Western markets, Propylene prices remained unchanged. In the N W European domestic market, prices were quoted at € 1120/ton, and deals were mainly concluded in the range of € 1110/ton to € 1130/ton. In the US market, selling offers declined and were assessed at 62.00 cents/pound.

Acrylonitrile prices maintained a steady trend in Asian markets. In S E and F E Asian countries, prices were quoted at US$ 1940/ton.

In the Chinese domestic market, prices of ASF and Acrylic Tops remained unchanged at RMB 17200/ton and RMB 18000/ton, respectively.
