Benzene prices went down in European market today from yesterday’s closing prices due to poor market fundamentals, coupled with weak downstream demand in the region.

European selling offers of Benzene declined by 45/ton and were initially quoted in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1325/ton, but moved down and reached US$ 1285/ton.

Benzene prices increased in Asian market due to improved downstream demand in the region and bullish buying sentiments.

In the F E Asian market and S E Asian market, selling offers of Benzene increased and were offered in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1295/ton.
