According to a MITI statement, the petitioner has alleged that imports of PET originating in or exported from China, Indonesia and South Korea are being dumped into Malaysia at a price much lower than the price in the domestic market of those countries.

As a consequence, the petitioner had suffered material injury in the form of price undercutting, price depression, price suppression, loss of market share, reduction in domestic sales, decline in profitability and low return on investment, the statement said.
