Product availability woes push Asian MEG trends this week

Mono Ethylene Glycol (MEG) prices rose marginally in Asian market this week, due to increase in feedstock prices coupled with limited product availability in the region. 
 
During this week ending June 21, average selling offers for MEG increased by 0.75% compared to the earlier week ending June 14. 
  
Average prices of MEG increased by US$ 10/ton in the S E Asian market and were in the range of US$ 1000/ton to US$ 1005/ton.  
 
In the Chinese market, average selling offers for MEG went up by US$ 5/ton compared to the previous week due to strong demand in the region and were in the range of US$ 980/ton to US$ 985/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, selling offers for MEG also surged by RMB 100/ton from the earlier week and stood in the range of RMB 7,300 /ton to RMB 7,350/ton.
