Asian PX prices spurt from short covering activity

Asian PX prices spurted by 3.40% today, when compared with the closing prices of last week. 

PX prices in the F E market gained by US$ 45/ton when compared with June 21 and were offered at US$ 1360/ton. 

In S E Asian market, PX prices also mounted by US$ 45/ton match and were quoted at US$ 1380/ton levels.
