Poor demand pulls down Europe propylene prices last week

Propylene average prices went down in Europe last week as compared to its previous week, due to sluggish demand and ample availability in the region. 

In the week ending June 21, average propylene prices were at € 1080/ton, down 2.26% as compared to the average prices of € 1105/ton in its previous week ending June 14.

In first week of June, average prices were at € 1115/ton, which decreased by 0.9% in the second week of this month.

In US, average prices increased marginally last week as compared to its previous week. In the week under review, average prices were assessed at 53.86 cents/pound against average prices of 53.78 cents/pound in its previous week.
