Multiple factors propel Asian propylene trends

Bullish upstream market with limited product availability coupled with increased demand from the downstream contributed to the hike in propylene prices in Asia today.

In Asia, selling offers for propylene prices were in the range of USD 1370/ton to USD 1375/ton today, a gain of USD 5/ton as compared to yesterday.

Propylene prices went up by 0.35 percent compared to yesterday in China and were assessed in the range of USD 1440/ton to USD 1445/ton.
