US PX prices surge from firm Asian trends last week

In the week under review, average European PX prices were stable at US$ 1250/ton when compared to the previous week ending June 21.  

While in the US market, average PX prices surged by 5.6% last week to US$ 1320/ton as compared to US$ 1250/ton its previous week due to improved downstream demand in the region and firmer Asian PX prices supported the price rise.

In the US market, selling offers of PX were in the range of US$ 1295/ton to US$ 1340/ton last week.
