Global PX prices show downward trend last week

Global PX prices show downward trend last week across all global markets like Asia, Europe and USA.

In Korea, average PX prices went down in the last week ending July 5, due to hectic selling activity in the region as well as lower downstream product prices. Average prices in the last week were at US$ 1385/ton as compared to US$ 1425/ton in its previous week.

In S.E. Asia, average prices showed similar trend as Korea last week. Average prices last week were at US$ 1405/ton as compared to US$ 1445/ton in its previous week.

In Europe, average prices showed similar trend as Asia in the last week due to lower PX prices in Asia and US. Average prices were assessed at US$ 1310/ton in the last week as compared to US$ 1320/ton in its previous week.

In US, average prices too showed downward trend. Average prices were spotted at US$ 1315/ton in the last week as compared to US$ 1330/ton in its previous week.
