Average PX prices were assessed during last week at US$ 1305-1325/ton FOB Rotterdam as compared to US$ 1305-1365/ton in its previous week.
Prices have further fallen in this week and were assessed at US$ 1260/ton on August 5, 2014.
In US, PX prices showed similar trend as Europe last week. In the initial days of the week, prices were assessed at US$ 1345/ton, lower by US$ 40/ton as compared to the same period of its previous week.
Speculators witnessed the average PX spot prices at US$ 1315-1345/ton FOB US in the week under review as compared to US$ 1345-1390/ton in its previous week.
Prices were assessed at US$ 1280-1285/ton on August 4, which is a further fall from those recorded last week.
