Asian propylene prices fall last week from excess stock

Increased product stocks in the Asian region, saw propylene prices falling across all Asian markets like Korea, Japan and India last week.

In Korea, propylene prices were assessed at US$ 1415/ton at beginning of last week, which slipped further to US$ 1385/ton by the end of the week.

In Japan, prices were spotted at US$ 1385/ton in the initial days of the week under review, vis-à-vis US$ 1355/ton at closing of the week.

In India, prices were witnessed at US$ 1320/ton in the early days of the week, which too declined to US$ 1290/ton towards end of the week.

In China, prices were at US$ 1460/ton initially which went down to US$ 1440/ton by the end of the week.
