On Wednesday (Aug 20) they remained flat from Tuesday at US$ 1400/ton.
However on Thursday (Aug 21), benzene prices showed upward trend in Europe, mainly due to increase in upstream energy prices in the region coupled with bullish benzene prices in Asia.
On Aug 21, benzene prices were assessed at US$ 1410/ton, higher by US$ 10/ton as compared to prices on Wednesday.
