Tight supply helps Asian ethylene trends inch up last week

Ethylene prices increased marginally due to improved demand and tight product supply in the Asian market towards the end of last week ending 19th Sept from its previous week.

In Korea, average prices went up and were assessed in the range of US$ 1500/ton to US$ 1505/ton, as compared to US$ 1490/ton to US$ 1495/ton in the previous week ending 12th Sept.

In S E Asia, average prices too mounted and were offered in the range of US$ 1505/ton to US$ 1510/ton last week against US$ 1500/ton to US$ 1505/ton in its previous week.

Last week, in the Indian market, average ethylene prices ascended and were quoted in the range of US$ 1505/ton to US$ 1510/ton, up from US$ 1500/ton to US$ 1505/ton.
