Chinese nylon filament yarn stays stable to soft last week

Nylon filament yarn market displayed stable to soft appearance and prices declined due to sluggish demand from downstream buyers in Chinese domestic market last week ending Sept 19.

Among major varieties, average prices for FDY 70 Den/24 F fell RMB 100/ton last week compared with its previous week ending Sept 12 and were quoted around RMB 22,000-22,100/ton.

Mainstream prices for POY 86 Den/24 F were assessed around RMB 20,900-22,200/ton, a decline of RMB 200/ton from its previous week.

Last week, DTY 70 Den/24 F semi-dull was offered around RMB 22,900-24,500/ton in the Chinese domestic market.
