Asian benzene prices dip due to weak upstream energy

Benzene prices went down in Asia on Monday (22nd Sept) due to weak upstream energy prices and bearish buying sentiments in the region.

In Korean market, prices declined US$ 20/ton or 1.65 percent on 22nd Sept, when compared to 20th Sept and were quoted at US$ 1195/ton.

In Japan also, benzene prices fell US$ 20/ton or 1.64 percent yesterday versus 20th Sept and were assessed at US$ 1200/ton.

In Indian market too, prices dropped US$ 20/ton or 1.65 percent on 22nd Sept against Saturday and were offered at US$ 1205/ton.
